Her journey began at the ETA Cultural Center on the Southside of Chicago. After finding her passion in dance, she continued her education at The Chicago Academy of Arts, the only independent art high school in Illinois. In 2008, she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She credits the art and technique of ballet for nurturing her into a woman full of confidence, strength and tenacity. As a result, she is able to overcome any challenge placed before her. The desire to empower her clients with this same glass-ceiling-shattering motivation is what drives her today.
Janicka understands the ups and downs of creative entrepreneurship firsthand. For nearly 11 years, she endured the late nights and early mornings balancing her passion with her corporate responsibilities.
Ultimately, Janicka left the security of her 9-5 job to promote herself as CEO of her own ballet enterprise. Now she lives a purpose-filled life.
As a movement strategist, Janicka helps her clients identify opportunities and develop realistic strategies to move confidently forward in reaching their dreams. One step at a time.
